Lauren Gottshall
With heartfelt lyrics and an ear-catching tone, Lauren Gottshall, a 22-year-old up-and-coming artist originally from outside of Chicago, is sure to make heads turn. She has always had a love for music since an early age. Lauren began playing instruments at the age of three, performing on stage at the age of five, and writing songs by age 12. She writes like an old soul, with a level of maturity in her writing, combined with catchy melodies that captivate and move audiences of all ages. Her influences range from Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift and The Chicks to Billy Joel and Maroon 5. After 10 years of balancing her education and performing, Lauren graduated Southern Methodist University last year and has moved to Nashville full-time to pursue music. She has opened for major artists such as O.A.R, Chris Janson and the Samples and has been on stage at major venues such as House of Blues, Gilley’s Dallas, Barstool Nashville and Chicago, The Twelve Thirty Club and many others. Whether she is playing an intimate writer's round or a full band show, Lauren has the talent and charm to win over any crowd and guaranteed to leave them wanting more.
